I appreciate those visitors who checked my first Eng. post.
For me, it's difficult to post things about Japan in English. Because I
know little abouse the language, I almost gave up to finish it. Since
it's the top post, I am supposed to try to finish it.
I have been to Japan for ten times. My friends are always tired of that
and wonder " Why Japan? Why always Japan? Oh, my god, not
Japan again!!!Why you go to Japan so often?" .......
Even the staff of customs in Japan also asked :
" Why you come to Japan so often?"
First of all, it takes only 3 hours flight from Taiwan to Japan. Besides,
we don't need VISA. Then almost all the Japanese are honest and
friendly to visitors. Compared as the other Asian countries, it's
extremely safe. There is no terrorist or coup in Japan. So if I have
only few days off, Japan is the choice for me.
Then let's back to the topic of this diary.
The destination of day 2 is (喜多方)Kitakata, which is famous of (味增)
miso. It is condiment for soup or any other food. So in this place, there are different flavors of noodles and wine cellars.
It's a little difficult to explain the way from our hotel to the destination. Simply speaking, we needed at least
two stop on the way.
If you have the railway pass, just show it to the staff of the station. They are always extemely friendly and help you to make reservation, even the connection. Of course, it's free of charge.
I like to collect the stamps. Because there is always the special symbol of local food or people.
I prefer to tavel in Japan because the streets are always clean. You can hardly see trash in the streets . The snow scenes are beautiful all the way.
Since there are two stops from our hotel to the Kitakata. We took a short break and had lunch at Koriyama.
The combination of the soup noodle and sake was perfect and we enjoyed it.
How about taking pix in front of the station
The sample of the food in the window looked delicious, though the food in the window was fake.
After short break we kept on going to the destination Kitakata. I also had the stamp on my notebook.
Since there were two stops and we were not familiar with the location, it's about 4 PM when we arrived.
Almost all the stores closed at 5 PM. Even though the snow scences were extremely beautiful. We really enjoyed and also had local flavor soup noodles.
Cute kids
Try to post more in English.
See you tomorrow
